Emma's Revolution
The Western Shoshone welcomed us to their land and offered
their blessing. We learned of their continuing struggles
and Mother Earth's. Carrie Dann, Johnnie Bobb, & John
Wells.

Priestess Dr. Anne Key led us in a call and respond peace
blessing and Fr. Louis Vitale, OFM prayed in thanksgiving
of St. Francis' life and the continuation of our work
here to transform the Nevada Test Site.
Sacred Peace walkers shared their inspiration for the
journey.
Fr. Louis Vitale, OFM talked about the 25+ years of NDE's
witness at the Nevada Test Site and those who came before
including Quakers in the 1950's and Sr. Rosemary Lynch.
Emma's Revolution led us in singing "Salaam, Shalom,
Peace."
Loulena Miles, Tri-Valley Cares staff attorney spoke on
Complex 2030.

Sr. Rosemary Lynch.
Sr. Rosemary Lynch was welcomed to the stage by a singing
of "Happy Birthday" on this her 90th birthday.
She greeted us with "pace e bene," a greeting
used by Saint Francis that means "peace and all good."
Sr. Rosemary was presented with a hand-made banner in
celebration of her life and works.
Martin Sheen offered up a personal prayer as we prepare
for the walk to the Test Site line.
